Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) is a highly regarded public school district located in beautiful Texas Hill Country, just 25 miles west of Austin. Encompassing 198 square miles, DSISD primarily serves the communities in northern Hays County, including Dripping Springs and Driftwood. District enrollment increased by nearly 4,000 students over the last decade and is now educating approximately 8,600 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. DSISD operates eight campuses, including five elementary schools – with 1 more currently scheduled to open for the 2025/2026 school year, two middle schools, and one high school.
